Arrivals and Departures

April 2019 was a busy and emotional month for the lab as we saw three graduate students successfully defend their PhD Thesis. Zach Steinhart will be pursuing his Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the lab of Alex Marson at UCSF (https://marsonlab.ucsf.edu) and Monika Mis will be joining ModMab Therapeutics in Foster City, CA. Also Nishani Rajakulendran joined Edesa Biotech as a research and development associate.

In September 2019, another graduate Student Elli Kubarakos obtained her M.Sc. for her work on human embryonic stem cells.

We wish Zach, Monika, Nishani and Elli all the best!

We are also excited to welcome two new Ph.D students to the group. Michael Chimenti is joining us after a M.Sc at York University and Fatemeh Molaei is joining us after completing her degree in Human Genetics at Mashad University in Iran.
